Want to be Baptized?

Baptism Sunday

Congratulations on making the decision to be baptized! We are excited to share this special day with you. Here are some tips to help prepare for your special day.

What to Expect

A minister or representative from the church will reach out to confirm when you are being baptized, as well as answer any questions you may have.

Please arrive 30 minutes early to the service. You will be given a schedule of your baptism, as well as a quick walkthrough of your special day.

Please Dress Accordingly

You will be given a "Raised to Life" t-shirt to wear. The church does provide baptismal robes, but you are welcome to bring something modest to wear for your baptism.

Please wear appropriate undergarments and bring a change of clothes. The church will provide fresh towels. We invite your family to come up close to the baptismal area to celebrate with you.

Celebrate Your Faith

I believe Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sin.

I want to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of my sins, to publicly declare my faith in Him, and be raised to new life in Him.

Call us at (541) 756-3902 to schedule your baptism!

What About Children?

We do not baptize infants as we believe every person should have full comprehension of the decision to be baptized. However, we do dedicate infants throughout the year on an as needed basis.

What If I Have to Cancel?

You will be given a number to call in the event you would need to cancel.

Scriptures on Baptism

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved... Mark 16:16

Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God." "What do you mean?" replied Nicodemus. "How can an old man go back into his mother's womb and be born again?" Jesus replied, "I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit." John 3:3-5

Peter replied, "each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38
